The Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India is monitoring wholesale and retail prices of 22 Essential Commodities through 101 Price Collection Centres (State Food and Civil Supplies Departments) situated across the country. This portal provides for collection of price data through public participation also.
Citizen are invited to register through this webportal once to get userid and password instantly and enter prices of their locality.
